Most of you were thinking dafuq is Bubba Gump.
Now.
Lemme tell you.
It's a shrimp based restaurant and it was named after a movie called Forrest Gump
and I'd been there before.

Anyway, I'm gonna tell you the story + some of my thoughts during watching the movie.

The movie started when Forrest was a little kid. He was sick (something to do with his leg. Look at his leg in the photo above) and he was also had a low IQ. His mom loved him unconditionally and will do anything for him. When I said anything, I mean IT. If you know what I mean. 

No one want to be friend with him. I like the conversation between Forrest and the bus driver. He said that don't talk to strangers. This was the first memento where he met Jenny. His only girl. Aww. There were a lot of friendzone levels in this movie though. 

The best part of the movie which I can relate with the restaurant I ate past few months was 'Run Forrest, Run!' Hell yeah. He ran very, very, super fast. Usain Bolt will lost the race if he ran beside Forrest though.

Then, he went to high school and college where Tom Hanks was so young and handsome. In college, he played American football. His job was, when he get the ball, he must run for the touchdown. Actually, the touchdown were never happened because, well, he just ran. Until one day, the manager put a bunting stated 'Stop, Forrest!'.

Bla bla bla. 

He joined the army after he graduated. He met Bubba in the army. I wanna skipped the training part to the Vietnam War. Yup. Forrest and Bubba were sent to Vietnam. In Vietnam, something strange happened. This particular person, the person who acted Lt Dan Taylor. I'd seen him before.

In a jiff, a lightbulb clicked in the air.

Dafuq. He's Det. Mac Taylor from CSI:NY.

He look really young. Even though he put up the slang, I still recognised his voice.

Now I knew why Bubba Gump is all about shrimp-base foods. That was because, Bubba couldn't stop talking about shrimps in the movie. Even during the war, he still talked about shrimps. 

Doesn't matter, the shrimps taste good in real life too.

After the war had ended, he got shot at the butt and got a medal for serving in Vietnam War. Next thing you know, he played ping pong for the national team. After a while, he was discharged from the army. 

He wanted to make his promise to Bubba becoming a reality. He bought a shrimping boat for ALMOST 25K. Lt. Dan was with him too. Becoming his first mate.
He opened Bubba Gump. Yes. The restaurant. And Lt. Dan did mention he invest in a 'fruit' company. This was the funny part. When I heard fruit company, I thought of fruit. But then I realized it was Apple, Inc. LULZ.

Bla bla bla. 
He ran for no particular reason.
Met Jenny again and got married. No more friendzoned.
Took care of Forrest Gump Jr. 
The end.

One thing for sure, it seems like the whole America's history were in there.
Vietnam War, the death of Pres Kennedy, hipster, statue of liberty yada yada yada.

Seriously, dude. 

I cried at the end of the movie.

Why?

Because it touched my heart.

These are for those who haven't watch it. And for those who had watch it, do you agree with me? 

Z :  When I cried watching a movie, that means that movie is very very good. Jarang bha nangis sebab tengok movies or series.

The Artist

The best movie for Golden Globe was The Artist. So, I was curious because this movie hadn't made it into the cinema. To kill my curiousity, I downloaded it.

I'm so lazy to write the whole scene so I just typed from what I saw. 

Technically, this was a silent movie. A silent movie in a silent movie.

Now, I knew why this movie had the most numbers in nominations. It's a good movie. Noo. Better than Twilight. There's no CGI, romance, a little comedy and hard to understand at first but the most important thing was, the hero has no sparkle. 

(OK, I was just joking) 

This was my first silent movie. By watching this movie, I can focus on their body languages. Well, there was no words came out from their mouth. And it will be pretty awesome if you can read their lips. 

Once rich and famous, then poor.
Pride will bring you to nowhere.

Just be grateful if someone sincerely helped you out of your misery.

You should watch this movie. If you still think this movie is a piece of crap. Think again. This movie won the best movie and nominated for 6 times. Besides, this dog can really act. Seriously.

And it's loyal to its master til the end of the movie.

You DOG, deserves an AWARD.

Sleuthing in the Shadow

From my post in the middle of this month, I did tell you about a few must-watch movies. And I was like, when I'm gonna find some time to watch all that 3 movies?

The answer was simple. Watched it before the final exam starts.

In spite of my busy-ness about the never-ending projects, I still let myself find some time to de-stress by watching them.

Firstly, I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 with Amer. That movie was quite funneh and the best part was the singing part. Duhh. It's a singing chipmunks. I reckon this movie to small kids and people who loves to watch 3D movie/cartoons. BTW, I watched it on 16th December.

Then, last Friday, I watched Mission: Impossible 4 with Bhem and Fatin. You can read it here. XD

And a few hours ago, I just finished watching Sherlock Holmes 2 with Irsyad. 

An awesome movie. That's all I can told you. 

I really love the graphic during the slow-mo. And of course, the sleuthing part was always one of my favourite. This movie really makes me wanna buy Sherlock Holmes books collection. Oh ya, forgot to tell you guys my favourite part and it was during the first class carriage. He wore woman clothes and shaved. Heh.

The best part of watching all the movies above was watching it with Rawiey at the same place (City Square) but different hall and time.

Agent Hunt Getting Busted, Twice !

It's been a long time since I updated my last entry. I'd been very very very busy with my project and reports that need to be submitted this 2 weeks before the final exam starts.

Even though ICF was wayy over, I really need to focus on my study. Even my post about ICF haven't been upload. I was thinking going to complete that entry after the final exam.

Anyway, enough with the introduction.

Yesterday was a very hectic day for Brickwork team and that's the name for my System Analyst and Design (SADM; pronounce it as SADAM) & Database (DB) subjects. Cool right! 2 subjects but 1 projects. However, we need to do 2 very different reports. Amy and I did the report until 3AM then came along Rawiey, after she finished her Islam and Current Issue (ICI) report. Again, I expanded my intro. LOL

We finished the report around 4AM then I went out and hang out with him. Here's my story went. I went hang out so that I don't overslept as the expected presentation were supposed around 9AM. My first time getting busted by the Security Officer. LOL. After getting busted, he sent me back. Kompom lepas ni taknak lepak awal pagi lagi da. *konon.

Went to D07 a.k.a CICT and ready to present our system.

We waited and waited and waited

for almost an hour. I just couldn't sit there and waited any longer. I called my lecturer and asked when can we do the presentation. The best part of his answer was

"You guys can come to my room and present at 12PM"

WTH!

Went to class as usual and luckily today had a 3 hours break. I slept like a baby. If only at the evening we had no presentation. I woke up around 2.30PM and was getting ready for ICI presentation. 2 presentations in 1 day.

After the presentation, went back to my room and continued my beauty sleep.

You guys might be wondering why the hell Agent Hunt getting busted twice. I just wanna told the whole world that I watched

Mission: Impossible 4

with Rawiey, Aten and Bhem.

The movie was super awesome and I love the Macbook Black. It's rare to see Macbook in Black. I rated this movie 4.8 over 5 stars and a really good stress reliever. 

I think you might be annoyed with this long post and asking when was the second busted and why the hell Agent Hunt getting busted twice?

Actually, there was no relation between the busted part with Agent Hunt. After the movie was over, we all went to Singgah Selalu and took our supper. Thanks to Bhem for paying the foods.

Bla bla bla

We arrived at UTM around 2AM and saw the cones was closing the usual path. Bhem used the other path and we thought we had made a slide from the security check. It feels *like a boss. Alas, here's the second busted started. As we were about to take the corner infront of the MSI hill, the Security Land Rover stopped us. Yeah. It feels like we were the bad guys. Gosh. We were cheering too SOON. The security told us to make a U-turn and scanned our matric card. Damn!

In short, the title of this post was about watching Mission: Impossible 4 and I got busted, twice.

Just nice!

This car is SUPERB and Agent Hunt drove it. Damn~

Z : Even though we need to scan the matric card, but I was satisfied because the international students (IS) were also asked to scan their cards too. Before this, I had received a lotsa complaints from the local students saying that the security let them (IS) slide.

this movie worth my money. It was freaking awesome that I'm so lazy to type it down. If you haven't watch this movie, go to the nearest cinema, buy the ticket either online or at the counter, wait for the time showing, go into the hall, find your seat and voila!, you are ready to watch it on the big screen.

The Epic End of Harry Potter

Yesterday, I watched Harry Potter with my peeps. I always wondering how David Yates gonna put one third of the book into part 2. And now I knew it. There are many important events in the book were not in the movie. That is why I always prefer the book than the movie ever since the first series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.


This final chapter was an epic. From the first scene til almost the end was all about 
war, horcruxes and Avada Kedavra.

These are some of my points of view about this movie.
#1. Just to repeat what I just said up there about the missing of some important scenes such as the story about Ariana's death in the Aberforth's bar, story of Helena Ravenclaw told by herself, and when Albus Dumbledore won the duel vs Grindelwald. IDK what do you guy think about this but I think these scenes should be shown. Not everyone had read the book.


#2. Do you remember the scene when Prof Snape summoned all the students in the common hall and Harry popped out from Gryffindor house. Well, actually, Alecto Carrow found him hanging around at the Ravenclaw tower. He pressed the snake tats on his arm to 'paged' Voldermort about Harry's whereabout. After this moment, then Snape appears infront of Prof McGonagall and pooff! Snape's MIA. Right after then, all the houses are summoned to assemble in the common hall. HAH!

#3. I just realized that, from HP1 til 7, there is no sign of Peeves the Poltergeist. He played a very important role in the book because he love to annoy Filch the caretaker. And speaking about Filch, did you see his cat in that HP7 Part 2. Yes yes, the one he's been holding during the assembly scene. His cat became chubbier and cuter! Miow!


#4. In the Room of Requirement, during the event where Harry, Ron and Hermione were going to save Draco and Goyle/Crabbe, Ron just said something that tickle my funny bone. He said, 'if we die for them, I'll kill you Harry!'
How on Earth he's gonna kill Harry if all of them died?

#5. What the hell did he done to the Elder wand? I heard Iva said, 'bodo na juak Harry ya!' He broke the Elder Wand a.k.a the Wand of Destiny, the Deathstick into 2 pieces and throw it into the river. What a great scene!

In book : The Elder Wand fixed Harry's wand and lies in the hand of its previous owner, Albus Dumbledore.


#6. In movie, where Neville wanna kill Nagini (the snake is so cute!) but shows futile at his first attempt. Harry leap from Hagrid's arms and distract Voldermort to fight with him. 
In book : Harry wore the invisibility cloak first laa. Besides, there were also a few centaurs and lotsa elves were fighting in the war. Don't forget, Grawpy the giant, Hagrid's bro.


#7. WHERE IS TEDDY LUPIN ??
I saw Harry's, Ron's and Draco's children but I don't see Teddy anywhere in the final scene. I think Yates forgot to emphasized on Teddy though. Just wondering how would he look like. XD

Avada Kedavra vs Expelliarmus

All the half part of the movie was almost the same from the book. Even the words that they were saying. However, from the climax towards the end, it shows totally different from the book. Total transformation, rebranding! I just watched it and a part of me don't like it. 
Hurmm...

Z : I grew up with Harry Potter. A decade. Now it's over, I don't have to wait anymore. No other movie gonna replace you Potter. Thanks to JK Rowling for her brilliant idea about wizardry wonders fiction and the 3 Davids to make it come true in visual. Boredom never occurs to me even though I read the series again and again!

Optimus vs Sentinel

Last night I watched Transformers 3. It was never too late to watch Transformers 3 even though it came out ages weeks ago.

Anyway, these were some of my point of views about Transformers 3.

#1. The good guys (Autobots) mobile were always shining even though after the fight.

#2. Did you see during a rusty trailer changes into Megatron, well, he sure know how to adapt as he was in Egypt during that time. Nak cakap dier gune serban time tuhh.

#3. Where is the twin robots?

#4. Kayla is the real hero inside this movie as she provoke Megatron to kill Sentinel.

#5. Massive graphics. Cool and dizzy at the same time.
#6. Kayla can run with a pair of stilettos. So, girls, if she can do it, we can do it too! XD
#7. Why Sam use the old yellow car while he has Bumblebee?
#8. Optimus Prime has a trailer which store his gadgets. NICE!
#9. I got my both eyes on the red Ferrari and the grey Mercs SLS.
#10. Hopefully Michael Bay will never continue this movie again. It's cool but it will look awkward without Shia LaBeouf.

Totally First Class

The last time I went for a movie was months ago which were watching KungFu Panda 2. 

After my hectic life in UTM, I went out with my fun cousin and watched

Even though this movie was out weeks ago, I just had my time to watch this movie.

Anyway, this was my first X-Men movie and I haven't watch the previous series yet.

This movie was quite slow but it end up a BIG WOW ! Now I know why Prof X was in wilca. The most important thing was, the actors in there are freaking hot.

Even though Michael Fassbender a.k.a Magneto is old, well, he's just like George Clooney, a HOT hunk for their age. 

Besides, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till are CUTE too.

From this movie, I learnt that the panda became decrease in number and almost extinct,

I laughed from the beginning of the movie til the end. It's a good movie where you can see the graphics are quite realistic. I remember what my math lecturer (Cik Mie) told me. One fur equals to quite a long code. Imagine those furs in one animal. To conclude that, one animal with the fur equals to a 
very very very very very loooong code.

We don't need any plastics to be on top of the food chain. That sucks because high school will ended after your senior year. After high school, there will be college and university years.

I opened my eyes wide that Uni life is waaay differs from school life.

Fast at Rio

Almost everyone says it is the bestest movie ever. So, right after the exam day, which is on Friday, I went to Tebrau just to watch this movie.

What the heck?

It was FREAKING AWESOME! 

Even though there were so many sexaay chicas and well-build guys in there, but holy shiz, my eyes were just on the rides. The location for this movie was in Rio. Cool place ea ?

Everyone can bring their own guns just like in this shot. . .

Dom : This is BRASIL !!

and I almost didn't recognized The Rock because of that beard. XD

Anyway, for those who haven't see this movie yet, I can assure you it is so worth your money because I rate this movie 9.999 over 10 stars. The most important thing was, I love the graphics of this movie. So realistic. How much CGI did they used for this movie?

We (Rawiey, Thirah & me) drove all the way to the dataran just to eat steamboat. After an hour on the road, finally we found the place.d'Terrace. We ate til our heart content and for once, I forgot about the math projects. NVM about that because I'm gonna devote myself for that starting this morning and tomorrow.

How I wish I know how to make the graph came out by using openGL. . .

Z : So many movies for this hols. And my money really can't wait for them to get into the cinema cash register.

Some Time for Myself

Finally, I had some time for myself. Regarding of my busy schedule nowadays, I stole some of my time just to have a slight fun and that was my all-time favourite, watching movie. It's been a while since I watched and hang out with my peeps outside UTM circle though. 

Anyway, I heard LOTSA people talk about this movie and I tend to attract to it. . .

Who has watched this movie please raise up your leg ?

My conclusion for this movie was

it worth my 10 bucks.

and the Prince of Rome is so cute.

Maybe this was my first time watching epic + history movie and the director is Yusry KRU and the language used was English.

Just damnn!

If you haven't watch this movie, I just wanna said it will worth your money and satisfactory guaranteed if you are the person who like action + bloodshed movie.

I'm not good with history though but from what I saw, Sultan Muzzafar Syah was his 7th generations.

p/s: Hope after this do the history of Alexander the Great. I really wanna know about this.
