War Dance

Today is 29th February 2012 and once in every four years, we will be having this date. I wonder how people celebrated their birthday once in every four years. Today must be a very special date, right?

Anyway, I just wanted to post about what I did today. Had a class as usual in the morning and suksis in the evening. We had so much fun as ONLY the intermediates were at the marching field. The juniors and seniors were at the office.

For the first time, I did the war dance.

10 kali hentak kaki.
Gempur!
Jerit UTM sambil tepuk dada.
Tepuk paha 2 kali, tumbuk dada and raise both hands to the air sambil genggam tangan.
Tepuk tangan kat bahagian siku sambil jerit KorSuksis.
Nyanyian semangat cket.
Genggam tangan, tumbok dada sambil gerak 45 degree.

Whoa. Explaining this in words were harder than I thought. Better wait for the video (if anyone takes it).
XD

Z : The post about last weekend is still in the draft. Too busy this week.

Shooting Practice

It felt like every weeks, starting from last week, I'll gonna have a very full weekend. Fortunately, I had spent my time wisely by doing nothing at home during my holidays. :D

On 24th February, I went for Suksis activity in Malacca. From the title, you already had a good guest what I did there. Departed from UTM at 5.15PM, wearing vesmolen (idk how to spell it) that I borrowed from Kak Bella, I felt like a real police officer getting ready for chasing bad guys and shoot them. In short, I felt LIKE A BOSS!

The three generation of Suksis arrived at Pulapol Muar in 4 buses at 8PM. The last time I went to Pulapol Muar was after my first semester. We were living at the recruit dorms. But this time, we were living at the officer dorm. Much better than the last time though.

On our first day of the shooting practice, we need to assemble before 7.20AM. What didchu know, for the first time in my Suksis life, I was late. Wait for it. Me, Ain, AishahRashid, Mai and Rin were late. With bread in our hand and our mouth were full, we can only smile to our coach. XD

We off to IPK Melaka at 7.45AM and had our breakfast there.

We started our shooting practice quite late because there was also one event held in the morning. We started our first day by shooting with .38 Wesson and Smith. I was in the second details. I failed on my first attempt and the passing mark was 40 and I got 36. Pfft. Anyway, I was quite happy because this was the first time I succeeded in pulling the trigger without feeling like having a Parkinson.

Too bad not my name at the vesmolen.

The best part being failed was, I can shoot again during the evening. This time, I shot like a boss. Almost all of my bullets went through the bulls-eye. XD
Total up the bullets I shot was 40.

Them.
Pocong... teehee.
Us.

Then in the evening, we off to Pulapol Muar and waited for the next day.

*

For the next day, we packed our stuffs and brought it along with us (we left it in the bus, of course). We off to IPK Melaka at 7AM and had our breakfast there. We started the shooting practice around 9AM and I was in 6th detail.
BTW, on the second day, we were shooting by using one of these.

Anyhow, I failed at this one.

They let me took photo of this bullets. XD
Goofing around with auto focus.

Teehee.

I'm not a good shooter after all but I really love to shoot with gun.
At the evening, we off to UTM at 5PM.

My initial, 'Z'.

Z : Next year, I'm gonna shoot better than this year because the marks will be taken.

30th Syawal or 2 Zulkaedah ?

I was so confused on 28th September 2011. I looked in my planner, it stated there 30th Syawal. But some said that it already 2nd Zulkaedah. So, which one I need to trust then?

Anyway, that night was a hectic night. I need to attend 4 events and I can only attend 3 of it.
The events I need to attend were
*drumrolls*

First time using this kind of shawl.

KTR Raya Nyte
Convocation Festival Closing Ceremony
Jamuan Raya SUKSIS
SYGI meeting

Only Convocation Festival Closing Ceremony I didn't manage to attend though.

An Hour With KorSuksis Commander

Ola moi nocturnal bloggies !

Lately, my sleep hours becoming lesser than before and after this I might sleep lesser than 5 hours though. It's a no-no for me. I always sleep AT LEAST 6 hours during night time. FYI, most people in this world died from not enough sleep than famine. Besides, sleep is my beauty stress-free regime.
XD

Supposed during Suksis in the evening, we, the junior, were doing the firearms thingy. However, at the eleventh minutes, they changed it to the very first meeting with UTM's KorSuksis commander and he was

PROF T

Well, almost everyone in UTM called him Prof T but his real name was Prof Tajuddin bin Haji Ninggal and wanna know what so special about him ?
He is UTM TNC.

There were some interesting points he talked about and he would liked us to apply and share it.

Firstly, become a holistic students. That involved IQ, EQ and SQ.
Have passion in everything you do.
Be your best and mostly just be yourself < the be yourself part was my own words k! >
The most memorable thing he said was
' the knowledge will not be blessed if we are not sincere in learning it '
< dah macam if statement la pulak >

Next, he talked about the history-in-making in the month of June which is becoming the host for Pentaulihan's week <only for senior>. On this GRAND event, 21 IPTAs across the county will come to UTM just to get their accreditations from Malaysia's Chief Police. I'll be guessing that more than 1K future-Inspectors will be cram in UTM and one of them will be my friend from high school. He's from UUM of course.

Now now now
this was the eye-popping, ear-catchy statement. He planned to take KorSuksis to the next level. He wanted us to plan for a Global Outreach Programme (GOP). The aim is to visit the polices in other countries and see how they do their job. Moreover, he also said that he might invite FBI to give us a talk. Its not just visiting the polices, we might pick up a thing or two about their culture and try to learn how to have first class mentality.
Pfft..

The quotes he said and I would really LOVE to share it with you guys. . .

THERE'S NO BETTER ME OTHER THAN ME

LIFE IS ALL ABOUT CHANCES AND THE CHOICES THAT YOU MAKE

< both of the quotes above, ntah dari sapa, Google is yourself k! >

Early in the morning, woke up and did the same boring routine, wore the blue-white Suksis shirt and ready for class. Climbed up the stairs to K07 foyer and ohmaigoodness, a lotsa people already waited for the bus. We all need to queue and almost everyday, the buses will be soo full and all of us in there were packed like sardines. I think everyone had a class started at 8am. Quite different from last sem where the bus will full only on Wednesday where my class started at 9am. Luckily, my Thursday class started on 11am.
Phew!!

During TITAS, one of my peeps told me about the result of Programming Expert Qualifying Test. Its out already !?!
Oh yeah !
And my C++ result is the same as my MUET.
It's Band 10 3.

You all must be wondering what the heck all of the above are connected to the title?

Hurm...
Of course nothing in relation but the real deal was. . .

I just wanna practice my first report duty as all the juniors batch 2010/2011 already had their own nombor badan ID numbers.

WATERfall, WATERslide and rainWATER

Woke up early in the morning and of course, almost all of us didn't take the morning bathe. Well, the smelly cows were everywhere and being hidden by the smell of sweet powder and nice fragrances.
NOT!!
The smell and taste of mother-nature hid our smelly mist.
XD

Lets had a breakfast first before we started our journey.
After we had a brief talk regarding lifestyle, the long journey started which took us almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to Princess Lake (Tasik Puteri). It was effing tiring journey but SO worth it!
Cam-whore before started the journey.
During the journey, I snapped this photo. Look at them! This was the journey looks like.
Quite a misery because of the high temperature. Everyone getting TANNED!
In the palm plantations area, I saw a few buffaloes and then came this smell where it can killed the body odours. Guess what? It was a pile of ...
shit!
Ruined the view of the environment though. Who cared about it anyway when we already had something BIGGER in our SMALL mind.
Couldn't wait for a swim so I cut the chased and went to the front line just behind Pandi & Taufiq. I could felt both my legs were screaming for a pit-stop but my mind was anticipate for the finishing point and my body wanna felt the cold of the water.

*climb*climb*climb*

At last, reached the top and had an OTT + proud feeling that time. Not to mention when I came this far, I didn't want to just-stood-still at the corner. I didn't care what other people thought about me during that time. Hey, I'm a GIRL who knows how to have some FUN la. I rushed towards the water and went for the rock where the water falls and crushed the gigantic rocks.
AHH, SO REFRESHING!

Here were some of our unforgettable momentos . . .
I was at the top.

Ready for the waterslide!
*Pic from Mai's camera
I ate my lunch and then it started raining. Damn! The food was delish though. Although it was raining, we don't gave a damn about it. Besides, we had double the FUN though.
Then, I had an idea about sliding down the rock. At first I thought it's gonna be dangerous because of the sharp edges rock. Well, that thought just left at the side of my mind when I saw a few boys sliding down the rock. Whatdya know! I followed them playing the waterslide too. That's mean I had thrice the FUN!

XDXDXD

In the evening, we all went down the hill and rushed to the campsite.
Arrived at the campsite, me and Ain slept in the camp. And woke up just before Maghrib.
Bagus x olah kmk??

After we ate our dinner, it was time for karaoke! I really wanted to karaoke but too bad, there was no English song. Who said I can't sing a Malay song? It was just that almost all the songs they had were oldies. I don't know oldies Malay song bha.

* * * * *
The last day at Mount Ledang. I had so much FUN here. Bye bye fisheys! Bye bye En. Landak. Bye bye Puteri Gunung Ledang. XP
Here were some last momentos at Mount Ledang. We just love to cam-whore!

En Musa gave the fishes some food.
Let's gather around the campfire and sing our campfire song.

Camp at Mount Ledang

On Sunday (12th December), after we watched the recruits rehearsed for their pentauliahan, we departed to Mount Ledang which took us 2 hours to reach there. Damn! So freaking tired though. AND I was really anticipated about the camp. XD
The bus couldn't went further into the campsite thus, we all need to walk. Lucky for the junior platoon, it just took us halfway to reach there. SO sorry to hear about the inter platoon where they need to walk some long journey to reach there.
We made our camp which can fit 2 or 3 peoples inside it.
This is the camp...
This is the site...
After we had our lunch, we went to the this site where it has up ceiling and flying fox games. And yup, that was my first time playing those games. I was We were having so effing FUN. The flying fox had given me a mark at my eyelids. So painful la.
Luckily I don't have any acrophobia
After everyone had done their parts, only me and Mai were left and of course a few boys were there too. The best part was I got a chance to see Ganu did the head-down one. Freaking awesome!
Had the tea break and we went for a little swimming at the small pond. It was just like swimming with the fishes though.
Fish treatment.

For the night time, we had the night walk in the forest. At first, I was really scared because it was really dark inside. No handphones. No torchlight. No name-calling. So, there was no a ray of light inside it and we just follow the rope rails. If the rope was being cut halfway, the previous group will shout out loud and the message of 'TALIII PUTUUSS!!' will passed until one of the faci will go down and helped that group. These were our favourite words during the night walk. . .

"Curam dihadapan! Berhati-hati..."
"Akar tinggi, akar tinggi..."
"Tali halus...Tali kasar...Tali rafia..."
"Tangge...tangge...tangge...!"

Halfway in the forest, we were being released one by one. Damn! So freaked out for the first time. I just followed the rope and the run through it. What was in mind that time was I just wanna get outta there. Finally, I could see the light at the end of the forest and there they were sitting at the stool waiting for us.
Alhamdulillah. I finished it without hesitation.

Just can't wait for the next day activities. . .
The main office of Lagenda Park, Mount Ledang.
