Meaningful Song!

Ramadhan season comes and go. All the Muslim around the globe is fasting to fulfil their Rukun Iman. It is a holy month for all the Muslim as all the devil is being held in the hell. Ramadhan starts when the new moon is visible in the night sky. We fast for about a month until another new moon is visible in the sky indicates that Syawal is coming.  During this period, all the Muslim will control all words that come out from the mouth and the view that can be seen with the eyes. Generally, we must protect ourselves from doing any sinful activities. Therefore, no foul language and hot goss, no porn and the most important thing is NO SMOKING!! Well, what dya know, NOBODY is perfect. Even for me, it’s really hard to control my mouth cause sometimes, the S-H-I-T word and more can be heard from my mouth. But still, I’m trying to minimize ‘that’ words. InshaAllah.

Fasting away from home is very hard stuff to do. This year is my second time fasting away from home and fortunately, I already adapt to it. However, during my first time fasting away from home, which was in LMC was really the hardest part in my whole life. The first very reason was there is no H2O or in common words, it is called WATER. The breaking fast was the easy part because I didn’t have to wash the plate. I ate directly from the polystyrene container which every student in LMC did. I knew this method is NOT so green but what to do. There was no other way. Then, waking up for sahur which was VERY early in the morning, stretch the body, walk to the toilet, turn on the pipe and look, THERE’S NO WATER!! How on earth we’re going to cook our all-time favourite Mi Sedaap and Mi Maggi? For those who already ‘been there, done that’ the only solution is to used the reserved pipe water in a bottle. Luckily, I always reserved the water. The bad thing about reserved water was it tends to change colours from crystal clear to clear-yellowish. Eww… This was all because of the over-chlorinated and you can see the small particles in the water. Double eww… 

 Look at the bottles stack over some more bottles. Total up was almost a hundred!

Next, the best part about Ramadhan in LMC was there were many choices of food and we didn’t need to eat at Hom Café. However, because it is Labuan, the price for the food is very expensive. For my favourite Chicken Rice Black Pepper, it almost cost me MYR6.00 and wanna know the price for the same type of food at UTM? It only cost me RM4.00! Well, now that I’m in UTM and I must think positive.

Besides, at here, there are so many Majlis Berbuka Puasa coming up in my calendar. On 25^th August, there was held a Majlis Angkat Sumpah & Berbuka Puasa for KorSuksis which I had so much fun and get to know along some new peeps. Then, 26^th August, Pencak Silat will held one and I don’t know where they will bring me. On 29^th August, KFK also will held one at SUB and still not yet RVSP them because I have Digital Logic test that day. Lastly, on 31^st August, Silat Cekak will do this event too and I’m the treasurer. I think the face of mine has $$-signed stamped on my forehead. I just really wish that I got a lotsa cash. Later on, if I’m not lazy, I’m gonna jot down some of my details on Majlis Berbuka Puasa only! Lol…

For Community Engagement Programme, CEP for short (under FYE programme), I don’t know whether it is lucky or not, I was being appointed as Chief Assistant for 1SCV(Group 2). No comment for that right now. Maybe next time I’ll tell you bit by bit about this programme.

                Today, 25^th August 2010, is the 15^th day of Ramadhan and half of a month left for EID! I think this song really fits my mood right now even though there are plenty of midterm exams coming right up in my calendar. Who cares about exam right now when the 2 weeks hols are just around the corner. Just enjoy this song if you are going to balik kampung just like me here!
