#AzieNgelayor: From KB1 to Kayak

I know it’s been a long time since last I updated my blog. I had been very busy lately with stuffs. I’ve been through a lot even though I’m still in the 3^rd week. Lemme do the timeline of the best events after the FYEplorace.

18^th July 2010 – On this day, there will be held Kelas Bimbingan 1 for the chosen KFK members and I am one of them. We were being taught how to use a SLR camera which is not a digital one. It was very old-school and honestly, I didn’t know how to use it. In the evening, it was raining and I was very afraid that I might fall sick. But then, I spoke too soon. The next day, I was really fell sick for the whole week. Damn it! The KB1 lasted for more than 9 hours. After the facilitators called it was over for the day, Rawiey and I was very relieved. I called the cab and we’re out to Jusco. At Jusco, the SALES were all over the places. The apparels sold were very cheap. Just imagine the price off from 20 to 70%. Too bad there is no P&Co is not in Jusco.

24^th July 2010 – OMG, today I had KorSuksis interview. My fever had cooled down a little bit but I still can feel the chillness in the bone. The interview was held at Suksis Headquarter in Perdana College which is very far away from my college. Fortunately, there were someone from the HQ fetched me or as I can say, fetch all interviewees. I’ve been to Datin Seri Endon College (KDSE) and it is so nice and beautiful. Unlike my college which is very old-school like. At 9.00am, the interview starts. I’m the 9^th person to be interviewed. There were 4 interviewees at a time. So, I guess y’all can guess which turn I was in. I was friggin’ nervous and the bell rang which mean the 4 of us need to go inside the room. The room is spacious and wattahell, I was sitting in front of the air-con. Dang, I was shivering in there. When it was my turn, I introduced myself and they asked me the 3 department in PDRM and I just answered 2. Besides, they also asked me who is Sarawak’s Chief Minister. I know the name but I didn’t remember all the status in front of the name. How should I know all the pangkat in front of the name. The interview lasted for about more or less 30 minutes. After the crucial interview, I just went straight to KTR where the FIGURA (Fiesta Gegar Tun Razak, which everyone outside the KTR told me ‘tak gegar pun’) was held from 22^nd July ‘til 25^th July. In the evening, I got so bored and went out with Mira. At first, we were only watched Despicable Me and I gave 8.5 stars for the 3-D cartoon. The cartoon was so good that from the first minute until the very end of the movie I was laughing out loud.

25^th July 2010 – Ouhmaifriggin’goodness, I was sick for the whole week for NOTHING! Fareez (my faci for KB1), told my team that ALL the pictures taken by my group was blank. That was so not happening. Therefore, he told us to re-took the photo and today was the day where all the routine started all over again minus the talk though. We started at 3.40pm and finished almost 6.30pm. I took 6 or 7 photos and it turned out nicely done. I never imagine that the good-old SLR was so fun to play with. Moreover, Fareez and Hilmi also invited us, the junior, to dinner at Pinang. They told the Nasi Penyet there is so delish. Firstly, I thought it was my faci and the my group only but then, wattdya know, the whole lot was eating with us too. As I counted, there were 18 peoples overall. Eating with them brought back my memories to my peeps back in home. How I miss them so much. Arrived at KTR around 10.30pm and need to sleep early. Tomorrow, need to go to DSI to greet the Sultan and Sultanah of Johore. zZzZz

26^th July 2010 – Just saw the Sultan and Sultanah of Johore. The Sultanah looked so young. Anyway, that’s not the point I’m gonna talked about. What I’m gonna talked about was about my first time silat train in gym. I thought it would be running on the treadmill and some easy stuff. Hell no! I was doing weightlifting, which I never did it before and some other hard workout. After all the routine, my whole body was in pain. My legs and my upper body is the victim here. Arghh… pain pain go away!!!

29^th July 2010 – Tonight I had a CONVO45 interview which was from the KFK. Me, Rawiey, Thirah and Nisa were walking from KTR to KFK HQ. Damn, so tired. I just finished my silat workout then went to the interview. Well, we arrived at the HQ around 8.30pm and the best part was, I could see my photos which were taken from the KB1 part 2. Wani said I couldn’t see my photos because they were going to do some picture reviews on 30^th July 2010 which I couldn’t came because I had class on that particular time. Fareez, you’re the best. XD And the most important thing was the pictures I took turn out to be GREAT!! Now, enough talking about that, I just wanna talked about the interview. Honestly speaking, the interview was so FUN and better than the SUKSIS interview. Well, luckily I nailed the SUKSIS interview. Phew…

The KFK interviews’ room had a videocam and a camera. Each room consists of 4 to 5 interviewers and they were 2 rooms being used by that time. They asked me very random questions. These were some of the questions they asked (I tried to remember the questions and the Qs were more or less like these).

Them : Cuba introduce diri?

Me : (all the stuff about me laa…so lazy to type it in here..XD)

Them : Kenapa nak ikut convo nie?

Me : Sbb, I nak cari pengalaman. Then, convo nie kan adalah salah satu annual event in UTM. Mesti la I nak ikut.

Them : Dari pandangan U la, mcm mana rupa situasi convo tue?

Me : Convo tue ada banyak org. Then, you can see the happy faces everywhere. More or less like that la.

Them : Kalau U stress, mcm mana U cope Ur stress?

Me : I akan TIDO, kalau tak pun baca buku tp buku citer la…

Them : Apa favourite food and drink?

Me : Fav food of course la ayam masak sos tiram + madu (sume kat dlm bilik tue terus terliur dgr bunyik makanan tue) and my fav drinks are ice lemon tea and apple juice.

Them : Apa lagi skills U ada?

Me : (Semua ny cakap masak2. So, I jwb la…) masak tue boleh la tp tak la terer sgt.

Them : U taw masak apa?

Me : Western foods and latest one is laksa Sarawak. (sebut jer laksa swk, sume gasped!)

Them : Kata2 terakhir supaya terpilih utk Konvo45 nie?

Me : Choose me because I know I can do this!

These were only a few from my interview questions. If I wrote the whole things, for sure my page would full with this fun interview cause I answered it with a very sempoi style. Well, I guess that’s all for the interview part. However, the not-so-cool part was not being participated in KB2 which the venue was at Danga Bay this coming Sat. So sad!

31^st July 2010 – Today, I had 3 stuffs in my mind that were SUKSIS, KFK and CGMA. I was in dilemma but then, I must make a choice. So, I choose CGMA (Computer Graphic and Multimedia) over KFK and SUKSIS. Today, 1SCV were doing kayak activity. This was the first activity from CGMA was basically handle by SCV seniors. We’re the juniors, so need to participate it because it will affect the credit hour. I’m not so sure about that too. Early in the morning, I had to wake up early and went to the KK centre which is so near yet so far from KTR (I was just exaggerating it). Lol. The guys, which are from KTGB need to car-pooled with the seniors. We all met up and divided into 2 groups. I was in group coloured BLUE. Our first event was jogging from the KK centre to the lake behind the KTF (Tun Fatimah College). At first, I was so left behind but surprisingly, I was the first girl who arrived at the pit-stop. My aching legs were automatically became very light and this is all thanks to silat. After that, we ate our breakfast while the boys picked up the kayak from the store behind the KTR K07 to the lake. Next, the green team were ready for kayaking while my group did a few games. The most fun game was the Spontan game. This game was very spontan and funny. At 11am, my team were doing the kayaking. Damn, the Sun was already above the head by that time and that’s mean, let’s get TANNED! I was in the same kayak with Amira at first. Then, Zack (the instructor) told us how to change the rower during the time when we were in the kayak. After the seniors showed us how to change the rower, then suddenly my name was being called to do the exchanging. I was exchanging my seat with Fawwaz. That’s mean, I was sitting with the senior and Amira was sitting with Fawwaz. The senior in my group were attacking each other. That means WAR!!! The victim here was ME! I was so soaked but it was FUN though. Never thought that kayaking with the seniors was so much FUN! To all seniors, keep doing more FUN activities for us, juniors. You guys RAWK!
