Eid Twenty-Ten

It was so good to be home. I celebrated my Eid this year, of course in my hometown, SIBU. Even though I went back quite late, but still it was earlier than last year which I went just a day before Eid. Besides, I had a full-time fast this year which is just nice. On the first day of Eid, my family had a small gathering. The menu for the morning. 

kuah sate && chicken curry

rendang ayam, acar timun && udang

ayam masak kurma, ayam masak merah && daging masak hitam

lemang and on the right side, the top one is lontong and the bottom one is ketupat

Alas, I would like to make the pictures tell the stories. 

 First in the morning, the men will went for Eid prayer. After that, my grandparents made a small gathering or a.k.a tahlil for family only. Photo above taken during the tahlil. Of course after the tahlil, me and the other anak dara in the house knew what to do, that was doing the dishes! 

 Then, udak called us and said it was time for berjarah (seek forgiveness from the elder). My mom and dad started first as my mom is the eldest one, then followed by anjang, udak and usu. Too bad ngah is not around during this Eid. Then it was the grandchildren turn. I went first because I'm the eldest among all then followed by Ira, adeq, Ida, and so on... The best thing about Eid this year was abah was around during the 1st Eid. So nice la~~ I also get to collect duit raya. XD
