In Britain, they are having an election to elect a new Parliament and leader. It is a tough competition and they are from Labour (Gordon Brown), Liberal Democrats (Nick Clegg) and Conservatives (David Cameron). Well, enough crap about their politics and what i want to type is about P212.
Most of you might be asking what the hell is P212? Well, it is parliament code for my hometown which is Sibu. It is almost the same as in London cause at here, we are also having 3-sided competition which is from SUPP, DAP and Bebas. Although i don't give a damn about politics, i really like to see the scene here. You can see the rocket (DAP logo) and scale (BN logo) banner everywhere. Besides, when is the time you can see almost all the menteri go to Sibu? Just last week, the PM went here just to greet the Chinese at Sungai Merah there.
From my theory, they all went here because Sibu is like no other places. Where can we find the Chinese population more than 60% in Malaysia? Sibu, duhh!! You don't need to go to Chinatown to feel like you're in China. Just visit Sibu and you will find out by yourself.
I remembered my English lec in LMC told me that Sibu is famous for its gangsterism. Well, its true. I'm surprised that my lec which came all the way from Kelantan knew about Sibu. Last night, my abah told me that there are more than 2200 cops from all over Malaysia just for the election. In short, if there are any crime during this short period, i also dunno what to say.
I think the Sibuans doesn't care much about this election. Wanna know why? Its all because of almost all the Chinese here are already so damn rich. Thus, that is why the election here is so diff from election which occurred at Peninsula Malaysia. The diff is soo obvious from the Hulu Selangor election which had just occured last month where BN won.
For P212 election, its hard to tell though.
